Hue Lantern Festival 2025

Hue Lantern Festival 2025 is held at the Interior Palace - Hue Imperial City with the activity of organizing a space to display and arrange typical lanterns of Hue: traditional Hue lanterns by artisan Dang Hoang, lanterns made from Bao La rattan and bamboo, Truc Chi lanterns, CAN studio folding lanterns. Especially, there is the participation of traditional lanterns of artisans from Gifu province (Japan)

The Lion - Lion - Dragon performance and Mid-Autumn Festival street lantern procession will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 4, 2025 (the 13th day of the 8th lunar month) with the planned route being the Interior Ministry - 23/8 Revolution Street - Dinh Tien Hoang - Tran Hung Dao - Gia Hoi Bridge - Trinh Cong Son Park. The performance stop is at the intersection of Tran Hung Dao, Huynh Thuc Khang and Phan Dang Luu streets. This activity attracts the participation of Lion - Lion - Dragon troupes; students from schools in Phu Xuan ward; artisans from countries and units participating in the Hue Lantern Festival 2025.

The event not only attracts domestic and international tourists but also contributes to creating a breakthrough for the tourism industry, promoting socio-economic development and affirming Hue's position on the global tourism map.

This is a golden opportunity to promote tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Hue in particular and Vietnam in general.
