The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Official Dispatch No. 4840/BVHTTDL DSVH to the Ho Chi Minh Museum regarding the extension of the exhibition "Independence Spring" at the Ho Chi Minh Museum. until December 30, 2025.

The exhibition includes 17 large-scale lacquer paintings by artist Chu Nhat Quang, recreating the heroic history of the nation. Through the visual language and perspective of young people, the exhibition expresses love for the homeland and infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and the sacrifices of soldiers and compatriots for the independence and freedom of the nation.

With a style combining traditional lacquer materials and contemporary creative thinking, the works express unique and novel aesthetic values; demonstrate the spirit of innovation and creativity, combining traditional materials and contemporary art, bringing new aesthetic depth, while honoring the aspiration for independence, freedom and peace of the Vietnamese people. The large-scale lacquer work "Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence" by young artist Chu Nhat Quang has been set a Guinness World Record as the world's largest monolithic, unassembled lacquer painting.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved the extension of the exhibition period as requested by the Ho Chi Minh Museum. After studying, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed to extend the exhibition period of "Independence Spring" here until December 30, 2025. The Ho Chi Minh Museum is responsible for supporting the organization of the exhibition and ensuring the implementation of assigned tasks according to the 2025 Work Plan.
