Review progress and urge key projects

On the afternoon of October 15, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province held a meeting to review the progress of key projects in the province. Comrade Bui Van Luong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil and Industrial Works reported on the progress of the following projects: Provincial Stadium; Road connecting from Bac Son Street to the Provincial Sports Complex; Sports Training and Competition Center and Provincial Sports Gifted High School; Headquarters of the Program Production and Radio and Television Center of Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio and Television; Provincial Museum.

Leaders of Thai Nguyen Newspaper, Radio and Television spoke at the meeting.

Representatives of relevant departments, branches and units also reported on the progress of implementing tasks according to their functions and authority ; localities with projects reported on the situation and progress of disbursement of compensation funds and site handover.

Also at the meeting, representatives of construction contractors   clearly state the reasons why some construction items have not met the planned progress ; at the same time, demonstrate the highest determination to complete the projects soon.

Representative of Provincial Land Fund Development Center spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting , Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong directed: For the Provincial Stadium Project, strive to complete the remaining packages by November 30, 2025. Request investors , supervision consultants, and construction contractors to enhance their sense of responsibility, speed up the implementation progress but must ensure safety.

For the Project of the Sports Training and Competition Center and the Provincial Sports Gifted High School , the investor and contractor will speed up the construction progress and disburse capital ; coordinate with localities to carry out site clearance well ( to be completed in October 2025 ) . The Provincial Museum Project needs to adjust the planning accordingly.

The project of the headquarters of the Program Production and Radio and Television Center of Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio and Television needs to be adjusted. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil and Industrial Works and the Department of Finance to advise and make specific proposals in accordance with regulations.
