Autumn Fair 2025: Upcoming Export Packaging and Branding Conference 2025 – From Trend to Implementation

In the context of an increasingly competitive export market, packaging is not only a protective shell for the product but also a brand language, demonstrating the value, quality and commitment of Vietnamese enterprises to global consumers.

Within the framework of the Autumn Fair 2025, in order to support businesses in improving their design capacity, developing brands and keeping up with new market trends, the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) will organize the Workshop on Packaging and Export Branding 2025 - From Trends to Implementation".
The event will take place on October 29, 2025, directly at Saphire 5 room, VinPalace Convention Center, Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi , combined online on Zoom platform and livestream on Facebook fanpage of the Department of Trade Promotion.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Trade Promotion Agency, Vietnam Trade Offices in several foreign markets, along with branding experts, the Vietnam Packaging Association (VINPAS) and many pioneering enterprises in packaging design innovation. The event promises to provide a comprehensive picture of the development trends of the export brand packaging industry, from the perspective of key markets and successful models, and failed cases of Vietnamese enterprises.
According to the representative of the Trade Promotion Agency, the Workshop includes four thematic discussion sessions, focusing on practical topics of interest to businesses.
Specifically, Session 1 The Future of the Packaging Industry: Trends, Opportunities and Breakthrough Strategies: Introducing new needs and standards of the US - EU market, green packaging trends, transparency of origin and ESG. Session 2 Packaging: A Silent Competitive Weapon: Analyzing the role of packaging design in purchasing decisions, identifying common errors and receiving direct advice from international experts.
Session 3 Brand storytelling through packaging and marketing: Discuss storytelling, consumer behavior in the Indonesian market and practice creating taglines right in the hall. Session 4 Building a sustainable export brand: Present international branding methods, design a unified identity and a brand development roadmap in 6-12 months.

The workshop aims to create a forum connecting packaging manufacturers, brand owners and exporters, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese products in the international market. At the same time, promoting the building of national and corporate brands through packaging quality and export image, supporting businesses to transform from awareness of green, sustainable and smart trends to practical action.
The workshop is also an opportunity to update the latest trends in design, materials and packaging technology for export, expand opportunities for cooperation, investment, technology transfer and raise awareness of the role of brands and packaging in global product positioning.
Businesses participating in the workshop can bring their product packaging to receive direct advice and sharing from experts at the workshop according to each specific case of the business.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Director of the Center for Trade and Investment Promotion Support (Department of Trade Promotion) commented: The event is not only a forum for sharing practical experiences between experts, associations and businesses in the packaging field but also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to improve their competitiveness, optimize packaging and branding strategies, expand the domestic market and export sustainably.
