500 million VND bonus for the team that won the National Women's Championship

(NLDO)- Six teams will compete to represent Vietnam in the 2026/27 AFC Women's Club Championship.

On August 8, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Ceremony to announce the main sponsor and the schedule for the National Women's Football Championship - Thai Son Bac Cup 2025 took place.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of VFF, emphasized that with the efforts of VFF, the determination of the clubs and the long-term companionship and responsibility of the sponsor Thai Son Bac Company, the national women's football championship has gradually raised the level of professionalism, contributing to attractive matches. The tournament is also the basis for experts to select excellent personnel for the national women's teams, especially the Vietnam women's team.

Thanks to that, women's football has gradually achieved remarkable results. Most recently, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team won tickets to the 2026 Women's Asian Cup finals in Australia. In addition, the Vietnamese women's team also ranked 37th in the world and 6th in Asia.

The National Women's Football Championship - Thai Son Bac Cup 2025 has 6 participating teams with a round-robin format. The tournament will take place from September 4 to October 13. The champion team will represent Vietnam in the AFC Women's Champions League 2026/27.

The total prize money of the 2025 National Women's Championship is 1.13 billion VND. Of which, the prize includes 500 million VND for the champion club, 300 million VND for the runner-up team, 200 million VND for the third-place team, 50 million VND for the club winning the Style Award...

October 13 in Hanoi . VFF in coordination with Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab) plans to broadcast live some matches of the National Women's Football Championship - Thai Son Bac Cup 2025 on VTVcab platforms.
