The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2025 (VDA 2025) was announced in Hanoi on the afternoon of October 8, bringing many impressive points. This year's award ceremony added an individual honor category for the first time, to honor those who have made great contributions to the national digital transformation.
The three outstanding individuals awarded this year are those who have had outstanding works, initiatives and activities, clearly demonstrating the role of "people at the center of digital transformation".
Among those individuals, teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Principal of Huong Sen Kindergarten (Tuyen Quang) - is the one who has made many contributions to digital transformation of preschool education .
She built a digital school model, using Google Drive to manage all records, plans, and evidence, helping to reduce more than 70% of paper records. The school digitized 100% of management records, libraries, and digital learning materials with many video lectures, along with chatbots "Preschool Teacher" and "Principal Assistant" to effectively support teachers and parents.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online reporter , teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Hien said: "In the situation where preschool teachers' digital transformation knowledge is still lacking and weak, and they have not been properly trained, my solution is to focus on improving the capacity and changing the thinking of teachers, helping to digitize records and books.
Through the process of approaching, training and changing thinking, teachers feel more confident in applying digital transformation such as using decentralized management data on Google Drive, building digital learning materials warehouses, using many multimedia solutions posted on social networking sites to combine with parents to educate children.
In addition to building a digital science repository, Ms. Hien also applies modern AI models to practical applications.
“We use tools like Chat GPT, Google AI to write an application that integrates chatbots. This AI model will be trained to build lesson plans and work plans for teachers, reduce paper documents and have more time to take care of and educate children,” Ms. Hien added.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quan, Chairman of the final judging panel, commented: “This year's winning entries all have technological depth, high reach, and focus on data and information security.
Many models have the potential to be replicated and integrated into the national digital ecosystem, contributing to improving governance efficiency, saving costs and improving services for people and businesses."
After 8 seasons, Vietnam Digital Awards has reached more than 36,000 agencies, organizations and businesses, attracted nearly 2,600 entries and honored more than 450 outstanding units, products, solutions and individuals in the national digital transformation journey.
