On October 15, Economic - Defense Group 313 held a ceremony to hand over trees, seeds, agricultural materials, and support agricultural production under the socio-economic development project, the model "Army attached to the people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas" in Minh Tan commune. Attending the handover ceremony were Colonel Nong Thanh Dau, Political Commissar of Economic - Defense Group 313; representatives of the Party Committee, government of Minh Tan commune and a large number of people.

The 313 Economic - Defense Group handed over 80 breeding buffaloes (2 buffaloes per household) along with 500,000 VND/household (including 200,000 VND to support travel expenses and 300,000 VND to support technical training expenses) and 630 kg of livestock feed to 40 poor households in the villages of Tan Son, Ban Pho and Ta Leng. This activity aims to support households in developing livestock farming, improving livelihoods, contributing to poverty reduction and increasing income for people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nong Thanh Dau affirmed: The program to support buffalo breeding is an important part of the model "Soldiers associated with ethnic minority and mountainous people", demonstrating the sense of responsibility and affection of officers and soldiers of Economic - Defense Group 313 towards the people in remote areas.
