A space for creativity and commerce to converge
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong emphasized: "The 2025 Autumn Fair is an opportunity to promote the development of Vietnam's cultural industries, promote creativity and especially promote investment in the Vietnamese cultural industries market."
This is the first fair in Vietnam organized on a national scale, under the direct direction of the Government , gathering about 3,000 booths on an area of 100,000 m², with the participation of 34 provinces, cities, central ministries, branches, corporations, general companies, domestic and foreign private enterprises.
As one of the units assigned to coordinate the organization, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is urgently implementing assigned tasks, closely coordinating with ministries, branches, localities and businesses, ensuring that preparations take place carefully, safely and effectively.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said that the 2025 Autumn Fair is special in that it is not only a place to display and trade goods but also an open cultural space, introducing the quintessence of Vietnamese cultural industries to the public and international friends. "This is also a special trading meeting point of the fair," he said.
According to Deputy Minister Ho An Phong, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned many key tasks at this event: "The Ministry will participate in communicating and promoting the fair, organizing opening and closing programs and a series of regular cultural and artistic activities with the desire to turn the fair into a real festival for people, businesses, for trade and connecting people with the market and with goods. Thereby contributing to promoting consumption, economic growth and attracting investment".
He emphasized that the participation of Vietnamese cultural industry products in this fair is of special importance. This is an opportunity to promote typical creative products, contributing to the goal of increasing the contribution of cultural industries to 7% of GDP by 2030, towards the vision of 2045.
“Vietnam’s cultural industries currently contribute 4.4% to the country’s GDP, a very significant figure. The 7% target is a challenge but also offers huge room for development,” said the Deputy Minister.
10,000m² space for cultural industry
The cultural industry product display area at the fair covers an area of over 10,000 square meters, gathering products from 12 cultural industries such as: Cinema, performing arts, publishing, advertising, fashion - ao dai, fine arts, tourism, entertainment games, radio - television, and many other creative fields.
Here, the public will experience culture in life, from tangible goods to intangible cultural services, reflecting the richness of Vietnamese intelligence and hands.
This is also the first time that Vietnam's cultural industries have fully and synchronously converged in a national trade promotion event, contributing to deepening the fair's appearance.
Spreading the spirit of creativity and humanity
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Department of Press, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, the Department of Grassroots Information and the Department of Foreign Information to carry out communication and promotion work.
A Press Center will also be set up right at the fair area, providing daily information to domestic and international reporters.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said: "It is expected that the Press Center will soon be operational before the fair takes place to best serve press agencies in spreading positive information about the fair to readers nationwide."
In parallel with the traditional media system, the Ministry promotes promotion on social networks and digital platforms, using a team of KOLs to spread information quickly and multi-dimensionally.
Daily shows such as Ao Dai performances, contemporary art, and traditional art are also held, bringing both visual and emotional experiences to visitors.
“We hope to turn this event into a real festival for consumers, where they not only shop but also experience culture, enjoy art, creating a widespread ripple effect in society,” the Deputy Minister added.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also set up online forums for consumers to comment and vote on the quality of goods and product brands, and at the same time receive feedback and quickly handle problems arising during the fair. This is a modern, two-way interactive way, helping the event get closer to the public and increase promotional effectiveness.
The 2025 Autumn Fair is a large-scale economic and cultural activity and a symbol of a creative, humane and integrated Vietnam, where culture and commerce blend together, opening up new horizons for Vietnamese cultural industries to reach out.
The highlight of the 2025 Autumn Fair is the Donation Program to support flood victims. This activity demonstrates the spirit of social responsibility and compassion, so that the fair is not only a place for trading but also a space to spread the humanitarian spirit of the Vietnamese people.
