Quang Ninh builds 24 tourism products to attract visitors

On March 8, information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province said that this locality is building 24 new tourism products in the following localities: Ha Long City, Mong Cai City, Van Don District, Co To District, and Hai Ha District.

Quang Ninh province offers 5 tourist routes to explore Bai Tu Long Bay, departing from Ao Tien port (Van Don district).

Accordingly, 24 new tourism products focus on exploiting the strengths of natural conditions and culture of localities such as sea and islands, culture; night tourism; eco-tourism, agriculture ; and adventure sports.

Specifically, in Ha Long City, we will develop products such as night cruise streets; Bai Tho Mountain; night streets, walking streets; sports activities, entertainment on sailing boats, music services on Ha Long Bay...

In Mong Cai city, there are Vietnamese-Chinese culinary tourism products; Love Valley eco-tourism; Po Hen highland market...

In particular, the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism has proposed to recognize 5 tourist routes on Bai Tu Long Bay. Initially, it proposed to recognize 2 tourist routes on Bai Tu Long Bay departing from Ao Tien international port to put into operation immediately.

Route 1: Ao Tien Port - Phat Co Cave - Pearl Farm (Black Rock) - Crow Island - Lao Vong Sluice - Chopsticks Island - Minh Chau Island - Ao Tien Port; total journey 53 km.

Route 2: Ao Tien Port - Tay Hoi Island - Meo Luoi Islet - Sen Village - Nha Tro Cave - Ao Tien Port; total journey 30 km.

In 2023, the province aims to attract 15 million tourists, of which 2 million are international visitors; total revenue from tourists will reach 32,400 billion VND. In the first two months of the year, Quang Ninh welcomed 3.35 million visitors, double the same period in 2022 (of which, international visitors reached 157,000); total revenue from tourism reached more than 6,500 billion VND.
