An Dinh is a purely agricultural commune, the economic life of the people is mainly coconut garden cultivation combined with livestock farming. In the first 9 months of 2025, the socio-economic situation of the commune continued to stabilize and develop. There were 9 enterprises and 77 business households established, with a total investment capital of more than 17 billion VND; participating in creating jobs for about 260 workers. Currently, the commune has 37 cooperative groups and 6 cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector.

The total area of ​​coconut gardens is currently 3,679 hectares, with an estimated output of 36.9 million fruits; of which, there are 2,114 hectares of organic coconut gardens. The total herd of pigs is 36,500, cows are 3,612, poultry are 320,000, and goats are 7,520. The aquaculture area is more than 208 hectares, mainly raising giant freshwater prawns in coconut garden ditches. The whole commune has 7 products that have achieved 3-star OCOP certification.

In the commune, there are 4 traditional markets, general stores and 1,460 commercial service establishments. The multidimensional poverty rate has been reduced by 2.23%; support has been mobilized to build new houses and repair houses for 8 poor households and 16 near-poor households with a total cost of 1.1 billion VND. The health insurance participation rate has reached over 98.5% of the population...

After operating the two-level government, up to now, the locality has received and processed 6,485 dossiers of people and businesses. Besides the advantages, there are still some difficulties: Currently, specialized agencies at the commune level still lack the necessary tools and equipment to serve the work of land management and environmental monitoring. Business registration dossiers and documents before operating the two-level government have not been transferred from the district to the commune, leading to limited information lookup, comparison, verification and management. The staffing of the commune People's Committee and schools is not guaranteed...

At the meeting, representatives of provincial departments and branches explained and clarified the recommendations; at the same time, there were solutions to help localities remove difficulties and obstacles.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Chau Van Hoa highly appreciated the socio-economic development results of the locality achieved in the first 9 months of 2025, especially focusing on the advantages and potential of the main economic tree, which is coconut trees, aiming at clean, sustainable and safe production, building OCOP products in agriculture.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that in the coming time, when handling administrative procedures, it is necessary to pay attention to the people's satisfaction index; especially in areas such as land, justice, civil status, etc., there should be quick and early solutions. During the rainy and stormy season, it is necessary to focus on preventing and combating natural disasters and diseases on crops and livestock; responding to landslides, high tides, and local dykes to prevent salinity and store fresh water.

From now until the end of 2025, the locality will focus on reviewing the low development targets to find specific solutions. In arranging and assigning staff, it is necessary to pay attention to professional expertise and the right job position. Adjust the planning for new rural construction and estimate the budget for investment in the coming time. Implement well the work of social security, sustainable poverty reduction...
