Grand Prix Binh Dinh 2024: Opportunity to promote and attract international visitors to Vietnam

(TITC) - In March, Binh Dinh will host the UIM F1H2O International Powerboat Race and UIM-ABP AQUABIKE (Grand Prix Binh Dinh 2024). This is a great opportunity to promote and attract international tourists to Vietnam.

The 2024 Binh Dinh Grand Prix includes two categories: the UIM-ABP AQUABIKE Water Motorcycle Race (taking place from March 22 - 24) and the UIM F1H2O International Professional Powerboat Race (taking place from March 29 - 31) on Thi Nai Lagoon (Quy Nhon City), along with other sideline activities.

The UIM FIH2O World Championship is the world's leading series of single-seat powerboat racing. It is competitive, challenging, adventurous and entertaining. The UIM FIH2O in Binh Dinh will bring together more than 70 athletes from 30 teams from 30 different countries, including the world's top racers. This is an opportunity for water sports enthusiasts around the world to witness dramatic racing.

The F1H2O racetrack has many diverse curves, the racing boats have a speed of 145km/h on the curves and 226km/h on the straights. The tournament promises to bring special experiences to fans, as well as open up a new direction for sports economic development in Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh in particular. On the sidelines of the tournament, Binh Dinh province will also organize a series of events, activities, and tourism festivals, helping visitors have more experiences when coming to Binh Dinh. Specifically, the 1st Binh Dinh International Food Festival in 2024; International Music and Sea Fashion Festival; Investment Promotion Conference with Gala Night to meet billionaires... These are events within the framework of the program "Amazing Binh Dinh Fest 2024". With the orientation of striving to become one of the major tourist centers of the country, Binh Dinh province has focused on developing existing and outstanding types of tourism, while developing new types of tourism, including bringing international sporting events to the locality, contributing to attracting international visitors, and at the same time being a great opportunity to promote Binh Dinh tourism in particular and Vietnam in general. The 2024 Binh Dinh Grand Prix event is the opening "blockbuster" in 2024 to realize the goal of Binh Dinh tourism.

The UIM F1H2O Professional Powerboat Race is one of the fastest and most adventurous races in the world. This event was first officially held in 1981 with the Grand Prix format similar to Formula 1 racing - F1 with Grand Prix stages held around the world to form a complete season. This year, the International Powerboat Federation (UIM) has announced the official schedule of the UIM F1H2O International Powerboat Race. This year's tournament has 6 stages including: Grand Prix Of Indonesia (March 1 - 3); Grand Prix Of Binh Dinh - VietNam (March 29 - 31); Grand Prix Of Italy (June 14 - 16); Grand Prix Of Albania (July 5 - 7); Grand Prix Of China (September 20 - 22 and September 27 - 29) and Grand Prix Of Sharjah (expected in December 2024).
