Vi Ro Ngheo tourist village, Mang Den commune, Quang Ngai province (formerly Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province) is located on the banks of Dak Snghe river, adjacent to the Thuong Kon Tum hydroelectric reservoir and among immense pine forests and majestic mountains.
Standing on the top of Ngoc Ruong mountain looking down, the ancient village of Vi Ro Ngheo of the Xo Dang ethnic group looks like a painting with dozens of peaceful roofs, a gentle stream babbling day and night, and lush, green fields.
This place is known as a "healing village", attracting tourists from everywhere to enjoy its peaceful, wild beauty.
In particular, the village is known as "super clean", all year round covered in brilliant flowers such as azaleas, purple orchids, cymbidiums...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van (62 years old, Gia Lai ) has been to Vi Ro Ngheo village 3 times but still wants to return.
Having traveled to many provinces and cities in Vietnam and experienced many community tourism villages, what impressed her most about Vi Ro Ngheo was that the village was very clean, from the public areas to the people's private homes.
Almost no one drinks alcohol. Outside of work, they play sports and participate in cultural activities such as gong playing, folk singing, and traditional dancing.
"From the kindergarten children in the village to the young people and the elderly, everyone is gentle and cheerful. The children speak Kinh very well and are excited to introduce the village to tourists.
Each person in the village is like a friendly and lovable tour guide, united in protecting traditional culture," Ms. Van shared.

According to Ms. Van, although the village is far from the center and almost isolated, the people's tourism mindset is very civilized. They cherish and protect the forests, pine trees, rhododendrons, and orchids as priceless assets.

When entering the village gate, visitors will see homestays built close together. The signboard of each homestay is decorated with rotten wood, looking very simple, rustic but still eye-catching.
From the village roads, gardens to porches, Vi Ro Ngheo people are filled with flowers, especially orchids. This place is known as "orchid paradise".
Orchid pots are made of reclaimed wood, hollowed out, and filled with rice husks and fertilizer to grow orchids. Visitors can freely admire and take photos.

Mr. Do Do (36 years old, working in tourism and communications in Mang Den) has also returned to Vi Ro Ngheo village many times in the past 3 years because he loves the peaceful beauty that is rarely found anywhere else.
According to Mr. Do, when coming here, visitors will enjoy rustic dishes such as bamboo rice, rice wine, stream fish, wild vegetables, smoked meat, grilled frogs in bamboo tubes... and immerse themselves in the traditional culture of the Xo Dang ethnic group, experiencing farming, going to the forest, fishing, and herding buffalo with the locals.
If you are a mountain climbing enthusiast, this will be the ideal place to explore the beautiful mountains around the village with the locals, and admire the blooming orchids and rhododendrons.

From May 2023, in Vi Ro Ngheo village, the community tourism village model officially operated, attracting thousands of domestic and foreign tourists to visit.
In the past, people only did farming, but today, they know how to exploit the beauty of their villages and the uniqueness of their ethnic cultural heritage for tourism, helping to increase income and improve their lives.
The village has its own beauty in every season, but the most beautiful time is spring, when cherry blossoms and orchids bloom.
