And last night, the whole country of Georgia was in a festive mood. All the cities were described as bustling all night long. Fans flooded the streets, marching in groups with their national flags. They also lit flares, danced, and drank beer. The most exciting was definitely the capital city of Tbilisi, which was described as a never-ending party.
In Tbilisi, amid the blaring of horns, people could be heard shouting "Sakartvelo!", the local term for the country.
