The program is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Association's founding, and to express gratitude to war invalids and sick soldiers - those who sacrificed and contributed to the Fatherland.

Mr. Dinh Duc Thang, Chairman of Vietnam Plastics Association, Chairman of Stavian Group shared: “Drinking water, remembering its source is a profound humanistic value that we always respect and preserve. A sustainable enterprise not only stands firm in the market but also accompanies and contributes to caring for society. VPA will continue to maintain and expand these meaningful gratitude activities.”

Accordingly, the gifts presented at the Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and People with Meritorious Services not only have material value but also are a source of spiritual encouragement, adding strength to the war invalids and sick soldiers to live happily and healthily, promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in peacetime.
After 35 years of formation and development, Vietnam's plastics industry has reached a scale of 31.5 billion USD (2024), growing 23.9%, gathering more than 4,000 enterprises, creating jobs for about 250,000 workers and exporting to more than 190 countries.

In the process of integration and green transformation, VPA and its member enterprises always strive for sustainable development associated with community responsibility. Programs to honor meritorious people, protect the environment, and reduce plastic waste are clear evidence of the humanitarian spirit and commitment to harmonious development between economy - society - environment.
VPA representative affirmed that showing gratitude to previous generations not only demonstrates traditional morality but also serves as a guideline for the Vietnamese plastics industry to develop more sustainably, humanely and responsibly in the integration period.
