The house displays photos of President Kim Il Sung's grandparents, parents, and siblings, along with household items such as wood stoves, cooking utensils, and agricultural tools, reflecting the simple life but rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions of President Kim Il Sung's family.

Kumsusan Palace of the Sun is located in the capital city of Pyongyang. Initially, this building was used as the office of President Kim Il Sung. After President Kim Il Sung passed away, the building was renovated and converted into a memorial place, preserving the body of President Kim Il Sung and began to open to the public to visit since 1995. After General Secretary Kim Jong Il passed away, his body was also placed here.
The project has a large scale, wide facade, high palace-style roof, surrounded by gardens, lakes, and monuments. The internal structure includes many halls, corridors, exhibition areas for souvenirs and memorial areas. In the exhibition area, there is a room displaying medals and awards from various countries. Many images and artifacts are associated with the activities and lives of the two leaders during their lifetime, such as cars, trains, ships, etc.
