According to Vice Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vu Khac Quang, responding to the Committee's call, thousands of individuals, organizations and businesses across the country have joined hands to donate, so far receiving more than 63 billion VND, 500 tons of rice and many essential goods such as food, medicine and household items to support Cao Bang people affected by natural disasters.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has promptly allocated resources to communes and wards, helping localities promptly purchase equipment and supplies for relief work. Many high-capacity pumps have been put into use to treat the environment, clean up flooded areas and mud.
To ensure effective distribution, the province has built a smooth communication system, closely grasping the actual needs of each locality, avoiding the situation of excess support in some places while remote areas still lack due to difficult access.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province also proactively coordinated with sponsors to select goods suitable to people's needs, limiting the imbalance in support like last year. Currently, people still lack kitchen utensils, household items, medicine, production tools, etc.
Learning from last year's experience, the coordination of volunteer groups was closely organized, ensuring that the charity groups arrived at the right place, delivered gifts directly to the people, and avoided flooded or congested roads.
Currently, communes are urgently calculating the damage to quickly deploy support activities after the natural disaster. After receiving detailed reports, the Front will allocate support funds to affected households in terms of housing, crops, and livestock.
The Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province said that the province is currently facing difficulties in supporting small traders and business households. According to Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP of the Government, issued on October 27, 2021 and Resolution No. 09/2025/NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Cao Bang province, the policy to support agricultural production to restore areas damaged by natural disasters and plant pests, the beneficiaries of the relief currently only include farming households, not mentioning small traders and business households. In the recent flood, many small traders and business households suffered heavy losses and had difficulty recovering production. Therefore, the province proposed that there should be separate support policies to help them stabilize their business activities soon.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is also coordinating with the Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation to support people in rebuilding their houses. The province has also received support from many localities and units, of which Son La province has donated 1 billion VND, the Ministry of Public Security and Xuan Truong Enterprise (Ninh Binh) have directly supported 1 billion VND...
To facilitate volunteer groups to come to support people, Cao Bang province promptly cleared traffic routes, guided groups on the best routes, ensured that no relief goods were left behind, maintained smooth communication between volunteer groups and localities, contributing to improving the effectiveness of relief work.
