Promoting OCOP products, craft villages of Thach That commune

On the evening of October 17, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People's Committee of Thach That commune to open an exhibition to promote and connect OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages serving tourism in Thach That commune.

OCOP products and craft villages are introduced at the exhibition.

The event is part of a series of activities to promote and trade OCOP products and craft villages serving tourism in 2025, welcoming the success of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The exhibition gathered 80 booths introducing OCOP products, handicrafts, typical products of rural industrial establishments, enterprises and typical artisans. In addition, there was also an area displaying OCOP products, traditional products of Thach That commune and other localities in the city.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting ( Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade) Hoang Minh Lam emphasized: "The event demonstrates the government's support for the business community, contributing to improving competitiveness, affirming the position of OCOP products and Hanoi craft villages not only domestically but also in the international market."

On the local side, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach That Commune Nguyen Truong Giang said that the commune currently has more than 400 enterprises, economic organizations and thousands of production and business households. The main products include mechanics, wooden products, garments, confectionery... In particular, the commune has more than 20 OCOP products that meet 3-4 star standards, imbued with the identity of the homeland.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang expressed his belief that, with the direction of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the coordination of units and local authorities, and the active participation of businesses and people, the OCOP Exhibition and craft villages of Thach That commune in 2025 will be a great success, contributing to economic development and spreading local cultural values.

The exhibition will take place until October 20, 2025 at Phung Khac Khoan Flower Garden Square, Thach That Commune, Hanoi.
