Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that the meeting aimed to listen, exchange and discuss solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles related to product conformity and conformity, thereby promoting production and business and promoting growth.

The Prime Minister said that recently, he has received many recommendations from associations and businesses on standardization, technical regulations, and conformity assessment of our country with many countries in the world .

The Prime Minister emphasized that implementing Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development, recent resolutions of the Politburo, the National Assembly, and the Government, the spirit is to strongly shift from pre-control to post-control and promote decentralization, increase initiative and creativity at all levels, reduce administrative procedures, reduce input costs and compliance costs for people and businesses, and increase the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods.

On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of associations, industry associations and Vietnamese enterprises in actively promoting production and business, overcoming difficulties and challenges in the process of responding to and overcoming the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, floods, natural disasters, climate change, supply chain disruptions due to strategic competition, conflicts in the world, and adapting to policies and approaches of other countries.

In the context of many difficulties and challenges, Vietnam's macro-economy is basically stable, inflation is controlled, growth is promoted, the GDP growth target of over 8% in 2025 is likely to be achieved while world economic growth tends to decrease; at the same time, public debt, foreign debt, budget deficit are well controlled, social security is ensured, and the spiritual and material life of the people is improved.

These results have the participation and very important contributions of businesses, entrepreneurs, business associations, and industries.
