Hue City has an area of 41,300 hectares of annual crop land and 26,400 hectares of perennial crop land. Notably, the Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system with an area of 22,000 hectares is highly appreciated for its ability to maintain biodiversity, many rare and endemic seafood species. Hue City's coastline is 120 km long, with an aquaculture area of 6,000 hectares, with estuaries and river mouths creating a brackish water area of thousands of hectares for the development of aquatic species.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment commented that Lam Dong is blessed with favorable climate and soil conditions, creating a variety of typical agricultural products, building the brand "Da Lat - Miraculous crystallization from good land", affirming its reputation in the market. In particular, enhancing agricultural solutions applying high technology, smart, applying digital transformation in agriculture to create agricultural products according to sustainable value chains, ensuring food safety and quality.
In Hue City, there are many typical agricultural products with OCOP brand value such as: pomelos in Thuy Bieu alluvial land; clean vegetables, organic vegetables in Vinh My, Sia, Quang Thanh sandy lands; brackish water aquatic products from lagoons and sea exploitation; essential oil plants, medicinal plants. Besides, many processed agricultural products have also affirmed the brand of Hue - the culinary capital including: Hue sesame candy, Hue sour shrimp, Hue crab cakes, Hue grilled spring rolls, Hue Royal tea. In addition, there are also typical craft village products: conical hats, Thanh Tien paper lotus, Bao La bamboo and rattan weaving, fine art woodwork, bronze casting. Of which, more than 100 OCOP products meet quality standards, imbued with local culture.

Spreading OCOP brand value
Returning to Lam Dong province, up to now, there are 88 4-star OCOP products; 846 3-star OCOP products. For example, OCOP products are spreading brand value such as: artichoke liquid extract - Ngoc Duy, premium artichoke tea bags - Ngoc Duy, soft artichoke extract - Ngoc Duy (Ngoc Duy Tea Company Limited); soft artichoke extract - Vinh Tien, artichoke tea bags - specialty - Vinh Tien (Vinh Tien Company Limited); frozen spinach, frozen sweet potatoes (Lam Dong Agricultural Products and Food Joint Stock Company); product lines of dragon fruit, avocado, durian, fruit peppers, cherry tomatoes, vegetables, tubers, fresh fruits produced with high technology, smart technology...
