On the morning of October 7, the People's Committee of Krong Buk district held a conference to meet with businessmen and introduce investment opportunities in 2023.

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Van Hung, Secretary Department ( Government Office ); Le Van Nghia, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; Nguyen Hai Dong, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Hoang Kien Cuong, Chairman of the District People's Committee; representatives of departments, offices, People's Committees of communes, towns and more than 200 enterprises located in the district.

At the meeting, the leaders of the People's Committee of Krong Buk district informed businesses and investors about the socio -economic development situation; investment results, potentials and strengths of the district. The district currently has 210 businesses, cooperatives, over 1,000 business households; attracted 21 projects registered for investment in construction at Krong Buk 1 Industrial Cluster, of which 16 projects have come into operation.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee chaired the conference.

The district has announced 22 lists of projects calling for investment. Of which, the Krong Buk 1, Krong Buk 2, Cu Ne 1 and Cu Ne 2 Wind Power Plant Project Cluster, with a capacity of 200 MW, is under construction; there are 27 rooftop solar power projects with a total capacity of 32 MWp. In the period of 2024 - 2026, Krong Buk district will have 6 projects included in the Power Plan VIII, with a capacity of 466 MW and a total investment of more than 20 trillion VND.

With an open and frank spirit, representatives of businesses and investors had many opinions related to support solutions and companionship between localities and investors and businesses in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Hai Dong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, highly appreciated and commended the achievements of the business community and entrepreneurs in recent times, which have contributed significantly to the strong transformation of Krong Buk district.

The District Party Secretary directed the departments, offices, units, and People's Committees of the district's communes and towns to be more synchronous, strong, and determined in listening to and absorbing opinions and recommendations as well as regularly caring, sharing, and accompanying businesses. Instead of rigid administrative management, we must switch to a model of serving and creating for businesses in production and business activities.

Krong Buk district is determined to strictly handle any manifestations and behaviors that cause difficulties and congestion for businesses, hinder development and attract investment resources to the district for personal gain.

The Steering Committee for the establishment of the Krong Buk District Business Association was launched.

At the Conference, a memorandum of understanding was signed on investment projects calling for investment in 2023 between the District People's Committee and investors, with a total capital of over 18,300 billion VND; the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Krong Buk District Business Association was announced; businesses, units and business establishments located in the district were honored on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 1945 - October 13, 2023)...

Krong Buk District People's Committee and investors signed a Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation.

On this occasion, the Trade Union of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and the Trade Union of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies presented a symbolic plaque of 300 million VND to support the Program to eliminate temporary houses for poor households in Krong Buk district.
