Young pioneers exploit the power of AI in learning, working and starting a business

On the afternoon of August 15, the Youth Union of the People's Committee of Da Nang City coordinated with the Youth Union of the Department of Science and Technology to organize the Conference "Digital transformation for the young generation: Exploiting the power of AI in learning - working - starting a business", with the participation of more than 200 union members and young people in the city.

The conference is within the framework of the Youth Union and Youth Movement Program 2025, implemented according to Action Plan No. 309-KH/TU of the Da Nang City Party Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The conference aims to raise awareness and equip young people with knowledge about digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI); encourage the application of new technologies in learning, working and starting a business; and at the same time create a platform for connecting and orienting the use of AI in a creative and sustainable way.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Huu Viet Cuong - Secretary of the City People's Committee's Youth Union affirmed: "In the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, AI has become an important tool to help improve productivity, creativity and expand development opportunities. Mastering and applying AI will be the key for Da Nang's youth to confidently rise up, turning artificial intelligence into collective strength, contributing to building a smart and livable city."

At the Conference, Mr. Le Son Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology emphasized that AI is creating profound changes in all fields and Da Nang is gradually applying it in transportation, healthcare, education , urban management, etc. For young people, AI not only improves learning efficiency and labor productivity but also opens up global startup opportunities. At the same time, he affirmed that this is a golden time for young people to boldly innovate, take advantage of AI and digital transformation as a historic opportunity to make Da Nang a bright spot in technology and startups in the country.

Within the framework of the program, Mr. Le Hoang Phuc - Director of the Center for Research and Training on Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence in Da Nang (DSAC) shared on the topic "Building Sovereign AI in Da Nang - Current Status and Orientation", providing an overview of the current status of AI application in management, operation and development of smart cities in Da Nang; analyzing opportunities and challenges, as well as providing orientations and solutions for effective application of AI, contributing to improving the quality of management and serving the people.

At the topic "Popular Digital Education and Application of AI Tools in Work", Mr. Truong Van Khai - Specialist of the Center for Information, Monitoring and Smart Operation of Da Nang clarified both the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence. In addition to introducing typical AI tools and platforms such as ChatGPT, Grok, Deepseek AI, AI Agent, NotebookLM, Gemini, ... the report emphasized the role of AI as an "assistant" to support learning, work, management and automation, while warning of the risk of job loss, privacy infringement and over-dependence on technology. In particular, the "Popular AI Education" initiative has recently been widely disseminated to the community through online channels, guiding practical applications and updating new trends, contributing to equipping people in the city with technology skills.

The conference not only affirmed the pioneering role of youth in digital transformation and AI application, but also opened up a space for connecting and sharing knowledge between experts, managers and young people. With a creative spirit, daring to think and dare to do, Da Nang youth are ready to turn artificial intelligence into a driving force for action, contributing to building a smart, modern city and an attractive destination for startups.
