Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a notice of the conclusion of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong at a meeting on the progress of the Binh Tien bridge and road construction project and 4 BOT projects at the city's gateway.
Accordingly, the city requires departments, branches and localities to focus on removing legal obstacles, speeding up site clearance, and ensuring the disbursement rate of public investment capital in 2025.
The relevant wards and communes must complete the dossiers and strive to approve the compensation, support and resettlement plans in December, and at the same time report to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee at the ward and commune levels to issue separate resolutions and establish a steering committee at the commune level to regularly review progress.
For the Binh Tien bridge and road project, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to give comments on adjusting the zoning plan before October 6, and Phu Dinh and Binh Hung wards to complete the planning adjustment procedures before October 10.
The Department of Finance will appraise and submit the feasibility study report for approval before October 15. Wards and communes where the project passes through, including Binh Tien, Phu Dinh, Binh Dong, and Binh Hung, are required to complete legal documents, determine land prices, arrange resettlement housing funds, and approve all compensation plans in December this year.
In addition to Binh Tien Bridge and Road, 4 BOT projects at the gateway to Ho Chi Minh City have also been assigned specific timelines to complete appraisal and approval procedures in the coming time, including: expanding National Highway 1 and National Highway 13, renovating National Highway 22 and upgrading the North-South axis road.
Particularly for the National Highway 1 expansion project, the architectural competition procedures at the Binh Thuan and Kinh Duong Vuong intersections and Binh Dien bridge must be completed and submitted for approval before October 10, and the feasibility study report must be completed before December 15.
