Today’s entrepreneurs are not only leaders of production and business enterprises but also actively contribute to social security. Entrepreneurs and enterprises always show responsibility to the community, for the sustainable development of the province.

Joy came to more than 700 Mong and Thai students at Ly Tu Trong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, Nam Co commune right at the beginning of the new school year. The kitchen of more than 100 ^m2 and the dining room of more than 180 ^m2 were inaugurated and put into use. This is a project sponsored by the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Yen Bai Branch with an amount of 900 million VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (2024).

Teacher Le Hai Dang - Principal of the school said: The completed project has basically overcome previous difficulties and is truly a meaningful and humane project.

In recent times, Agribank Yen Bai Branch has implemented many social security activities in various fields. In 2024, the total amount of social security sponsorship is 5.9 billion VND. Of which, 2.5 billion VND is sponsored for educational security; 1.6 billion VND for overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; support for building 10 gratitude houses worth 410 million VND; giving 1,200 Tet gifts worth 1.2 billion VND...

As of September 30 this year, the total amount of social security funding was 7.8 billion VND. Of which, more than 4,000 gifts were given to the poor with a total value of 2.9 billion VND; educational security funding for nearly 150 schools, worth nearly 2 billion VND; support for the construction of 40 gratitude houses, worth 1.5 billion VND...

Mr. Ta Quang Kha - Deputy Director of Agribank Yen Bai Branch, said: In the coming time, the unit will continue to implement social security programs, especially focusing on the education sector. In the near future, the unit will deploy a number of support programs for schools in Hanh Phuc commune.

Each business and each entrepreneur has their own volunteer activities that are suitable to their abilities. Practical sponsorship programs for disaster-stricken areas or Tet gifts, building a shelter, awarding a scholarship, supporting disadvantaged workers… All are meaningful actions, carrying out the mission of bringing the best values ​​to the community.

At the end of September, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association inaugurated the Happiness Bridge in An Thinh village, Quy Mong commune. The concrete bridge is 6m long, 3.7m wide, and has a load capacity of 13 tons, with a total cost of nearly 400 million VND, built from socialized sources. Of which, the Association and the business community supported 220 million VND, and villagers contributed working days worth nearly 200 million VND. After more than 3 months of construction, the project was completed, bringing happiness to 74 households living in this area.

An Thinh village chief - Hoang Thi Thuy Dieu excitedly: The old narrow bridge has deteriorated after many years of use, without railings, it is very dangerous for people and vehicles passing by. Therefore, during the construction process, people all volunteered to contribute their efforts. With the new bridge, people can transport agricultural products and travel much more safely and easily.

That is one of the many practical activities of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association. These women are not only decisive and strong in the business world but also have warm and kind hearts. The Association's activities are aimed at women, children and the disadvantaged. The businesswomen have worked together to support women in developing their livelihoods, building houses, organizing "zero-dong" stalls, sponsoring orphans and students in difficult circumstances, and distributing free porridge to poor patients...

More than 3.8 billion VND is the total amount of money the Association has spent on social security and humanitarian charity activities in the period of 2020 - 2025 and more than 7.1 billion VND is the value of support activities and mobilization to support people after storm No. 3 in 2024. These are not just simple material supports but more than that, they want to sow more happiness in life.

With the motto "Giving love - Sending trust - Spreading responsibility", in the period of 2020 - 2025, the business community of the province has mobilized more than 200 billion VND for social security activities, actively contributing to the cause of socio-economic development in the locality.

The Provincial Business Association identifies this as a regular and long-term task. In the coming time, the Association will closely coordinate with all levels, sectors and localities to provide support to the right subjects and needs, ensuring that all resources go to the right places and people, bringing about practical results.

In addition, the Association also aims to build the Association's Social Security Fund so that support activities can be organized in a more systematic, sustainable and long-term manner. Thereby, accompanying the province in the process of socio-economic development and improving people's lives.
