Received and distributed 8,000 sets of clothes to people in flood-affected areas

On the afternoon of October 13, at Tich Luong ward, the Military Command of Thai Nguyen province organized the reception and distribution of civilian clothes to support people in areas affected by storm No. 11. Attending and directing the activity were Major General Dam Minh Tuan, Deputy Commander of Military Region 1; representatives of the Quartermaster Department - General Department of Logistics - Engineering and leaders of the Provincial Military Command.

At Tich Luong ward, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command received and distributed civilian clothes to support people in the area affected by storm No. 11.

Implementing the direction of the Ministry of National Defense on supporting people in disaster areas, the Military Logistics Department has urgently prepared necessities and civilian clothes to support localities affected by floods. Accordingly, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command was assigned to organize the reception and distribution of 8,000 sets of civilian clothes, including 6,000 sets for men and 2,000 sets for women, to people in communes and wards affected by storm No. 11.

At the reception, Major General Dam Minh Tuan deeply shared the losses that Thai Nguyen people had to endure, and at the same time encouraged people to promote solidarity and overcome all difficulties. He believed that with the active and effective support of the forces, people would soon stabilize their lives.

Immediately after receiving the goods, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Militia and local organizations to distribute them directly to the people. This activity demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the Army for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
