Posthumously awarded the Brave Youth badge to the police lieutenant who died in Thai Binh

This evening (September 23), the Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union, authorized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, returned to the hometown in Quynh Hai commune, Quynh Phu district to posthumously award the Brave Youth badge to Lieutenant Do Van Tu, An Bai town police, Quynh Phu district.

Sharing the pain and great loss with the family, Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union Thieu Minh Quynh expressed the gratitude of the young generation for the sacrifice of Lieutenant Tu.

Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union Secretary Thieu Minh Quynh and other members paid tribute to the deceased.

“Comrade Tu was a brave example in the fight against crime. His passing was in exchange for a peaceful life for the people. The fight against crime has never been easy for police officers like him. Lieutenant Tu was a shining example in carrying out his duties for us, the younger generation, to follow and train ourselves. We respectfully bow before his soul,” said Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union Thieu Minh Quynh.

As reported, at around 9:30 p.m. on September 22, residents reported to An Bai Town Police that a strange young man appeared at Group 5, An Bai Town with many unusual signs.

The Brave Youth badge was placed solemnly on Lieutenant Tu's altar.

Upon receiving the news, Lieutenant Do Van Tu (born 1998), an officer of An Bai town police station on duty at the headquarters, reported to his superiors and went to the scene to verify the information.

Here, Lieutenant Tu was suddenly stabbed and slashed many times by Vo Tien Manh (born 2002, residing in Quang Binh, Kien Xuong, Thai Binh), resulting in serious injury and death at the hospital.

By 1:00 p.m. today, Thai Binh Provincial Police had arrested the perpetrator who caused the death of Mr. Tu in Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh .

Lieutenant Do Van Tu, died at a very young age.

According to the leader of Thai Binh Provincial Police, Lieutenant Do Van Tu died at a very young age, unmarried. He was a responsible officer in his work. The unit is making a proposal to recognize him as a martyr.
