Xuan Loc launched a campaign to clear the safety corridor of railways and roads.

(DN) - On October 15 and 16, the People's Committee of Xuan Loc commune, Dong Nai province organized a campaign to clear the road and railway traffic safety corridor and encroachments on roads, sidewalks, and spontaneous business locations in the area to restore discipline in preserving and protecting the road and railway traffic safety corridor.

Accordingly, on National Highway 1 and the provincial road passing through the commune, the working groups of Xuan Loc Commune People's Committee have dismantled many illegal constructions such as: roofs, tents, fences, signs, materials... within a 7m radius from the edge of the asphalt road. For commune and hamlet roads, the spontaneous expansion and trading points encroaching on the roadway and sidewalk, causing loss of aesthetics and affecting traffic safety have also been completely handled.

Regarding the railway line, Xuan Loc commune also cleared out architectural works, tents, and materials within a 5m radius from the edge of the railway on each side. At the station areas, level crossings, and intersections between roads and railways, the clearance was also made clear, ensuring safety regulations of the railway management agency...

After this campaign, the Commune People's Committee assigned responsibility to functional agencies to coordinate with the People's Committees of hamlets to regularly inspect, monitor and strictly handle cases of re-encroachment.
