Arrest of wanted multi-level marketing company director

On July 31, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) handed over Nguyen Van Sy (born in 1977, residing in Kien Giang province) to Ninh Kieu District Police (Can Tho City) for handling according to regulations.

Previously, in May 2019, Si was the director of a company with an office in Can Tho City, but operated "illegally" in the form of multi-level marketing, mainly calling on many people to contribute money to invest.

Si called on 49 people to invest in the company's business projects to receive high interest rates of more than 1.1 billion VND. Because the company did not pay interest to customers, it was denounced.

Police work with Si

Afterwards, Ninh Kieu District Police (Can Tho City) prosecuted the defendant and issued an arrest warrant for Si for "Violating regulations on multi-level marketing". Because Si was not in the area, the police issued a wanted notice in May 2024.

In October 2019, Si left for Ho Chi Minh City to sell dietary supplements. Recently, while on patrol, Thu Duc City Police discovered Si and arrested him.
