Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Urgently support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 and floods

Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 5079/CD-BVHTTDL to the Directors of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities directly affected by storm No. 10, and Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry, on urgently supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 and floods.

The dispatch stated: Storm No. 10 with very strong winds, wide range of influence, prolonged heavy rain has caused heavy damage to people and property in many localities. Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in the urgent dispatches, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) requested its affiliated units and the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Departments of Tourism:

Actively coordinate with local authorities and functional agencies to implement measures to overcome consequences and support affected people and tourists, with the spirit of "leaving no one behind".

Urgently review and inspect the damage situation at cultural and sports institutions, historical-cultural relics, scenic spots, tourist areas and spots; have plans to ensure safety and preserve cultural-historical values.

Strengthen information and propaganda on press, radio, television and grassroots information about storm and flood situations, response and recovery work; at the same time, mobilize and call on organizations, individuals and philanthropists to join hands to support people in storm-affected areas.

The Ministry also assigned functional units such as the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the Department of Grassroots Culture, the Department of Press, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, etc. to urgently guide and direct businesses, press agencies and grassroots information systems to coordinate in implementing support, relief and propaganda tasks.

The dispatch emphasized: Directors of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Heads of units in localities affected by the storm must organize 24/7 duty, promptly report the damage situation and recovery work to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis and reporting to the Government .

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong was assigned to directly monitor and direct the implementation of this Official Dispatch.
