On October 9, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien issued three consecutive dispatches, requesting ministries, branches, associations and localities to urgently coordinate to complete preparations for the 2025 Autumn Fair, ensuring the progress, scale and absolute safety of the event.

Accordingly, implementing the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Permanent Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, signed and issued three dispatches to relevant agencies and units to speed up the implementation of tasks to prepare for the fair.
According to Official Dispatch No. 7813/CD-BCT sent to the Ministry of Finance , the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested the Ministry of Finance to urge State-owned Corporations and Groups to urgently mobilize member enterprises to register to participate in the 2025 Autumn Fair before October 10, 2025. This is an important step to ensure the participation of key enterprises in the State economic sector, contributing to creating scale and influence for the event.
In Official Dispatch No. 7814/CD-BCT issued on the same day, the Ministry of Industry and Trade sent to the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) and the Vietnam Information Technology Association, requesting these units to coordinate, notify and urge enterprises in the fields of science, technology and innovation to actively participate in the 2025 Autumn Fair. The deadline for completing the mobilization and compilation of the list of registered enterprises is before October 10, 2025. This is considered a group of units playing an important role, creating a technological highlight and digital transformation for this year's fair, thereby demonstrating the spirit of creativity and innovation of Vietnamese enterprises.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also issued Official Dispatch No. 7815/CD-BCT to the Hanoi People's Committee, requesting the city to urgently coordinate in implementing the assigned items and report to the Steering Committee on the situation and progress of implementation. The Hanoi People's Committee is requested to report on the implementation of the subdivisions; coordinate with the Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company (VEC) to develop a plan to ensure security, order, fire prevention, environmental sanitation, health and food safety. At the same time, clearly notify the responsible units, focal persons, and support hotline numbers before October 10, 2025.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also proposed that Hanoi City use the 2025 Autumn Fair brand identity designed by VEC and approved by the Ministry to organize visual promotion on major streets of the capital.
The above three dispatches were issued immediately after the working session on October 8, 2025 between Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and the Steering Committee of the 2025 Autumn Fair, in which the Deputy Prime Minister requested to speed up the progress and ensure the quality and professionalism of the event.
The Autumn Fair 2025 is a key trade promotion activity chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, expected to gather hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises, displaying products in the fields of industry, consumption, innovation, digital transformation, agricultural products and handicrafts. The event is expected to contribute to connecting supply and demand, promoting domestic consumption and promoting Vietnamese products to domestic and foreign consumers at the end of the year.
