The contestants in the show.
Season 2 is a journey to find the "Money Master Star" from 54 universities and academies across the country. This time, "The MoneyVerse - Money Universe" not only expands in scale but the competition is also diverse with many tough challenges, more topical, reflecting the spirit of the digital age.
Contestants must go through the school-level qualifying round, the national selection round, and the quarter-finals to find 9 teams to advance to the semi-finals. In addition, season 2 also has a new round called "Startup Supernova - All-Stars" to find 1 winning team to enter the semi-finals. Finally, the top 5 of the semi-finals and 1 favorite contestant (with the highest number of votes) will participate in the final round. Here, they compete to win the championship title, a prize of 1 billion VND in cash and many other valuable gifts.
“The MoneyVerse - Universe of Money” is a challenging and attractive playground due to the structure of each round, diverse rules, harmonious combination of knowledge, reality and the ability to forecast and adapt flexibly of the players. Specifically, in the quarter-finals, the contestants must overcome 3 challenges: Data Hunter, Big Bang and Black Hole - corresponding to 3 core skills in the digital age: data collection, analysis and solution building, reflexes and handling complex situations. To pass this round, the contestants must demonstrate the ability to synthesize knowledge, strategic thinking and communication skills, and problem-solving. All challenges are placed under high pressure conditions.
The more rounds of competition, the more intense the program becomes with more difficult challenges, attracting the audience to watch. In particular, the new highlight of season 2 is the appearance of the "Startup Supernova - All-Stars" round. This is the second chance for contestants who did not pass the national selection round or the quarter-finals. The teams compete with a startup project that they founded and operated. The winning team will directly win a ticket to the semi-finals. Specifically, such as the projects: V-Craft by Tran Thi Thuy Linh, University of Electricity, is a platform connecting traditional craft villages with tourists, contributing to the preservation of indigenous culture; COGEN by Hoang Duc Ton, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, building a comprehensive sex education platform; EASY-COMM by Le Tuan Dat, Hanoi Open University, developing an application to support the hearing impaired in communication; Awake Ride by Tran Van Luc, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, offers a safety solution for drivers; and Tro Save by Vo Tan Thuan, Van Hien University, uses AI to help students find suitable accommodation.
The projects created a fierce race with 3 challenging rounds of knowledge, strategy, and ability to handle situations. Tran Thi Thuy Linh led through 2 rounds with effective strategies and project implementation, but the comeback belonged to Hoang Duc Ton when he came up with practical solutions in key situations. His composure and ability to calculate accurately helped Hoang Duc Ton become the contestant who completely deciphered the program's key layers.
It can be seen that “The MoneyVerse - Universe of Money” is not only a playground for students and young people to demonstrate their knowledge, practice their courage and skills; but also a place to approach careers, learn from experience, and put start-up projects into practice. Throughout the journey, there are experts and advisors in various fields who approach and give advice, and share practical experiences with young people.
