In which, Lai Chau green tea is processed from the bud of 1 bud and 2 young leaves of the ancient Shan tea variety grown in the geographical area “Lai Chau”. The product has a natural aroma, mild astringency, sweet aftertaste, and glutamic acid content of 5.34 g/100 g or more.

Lai Chau Oolong Tea is made from the 1-bud, 2-leaf young buds of the Kim Tuyen tea variety grown in the "Lai Chau" geographical area. The product has a strong gardenia aroma, a light, sweet taste, and a glutamic acid content of 4.24 g/100 g or more.
Lai Chau Oriental Beauty Tea is made from young buds with 1 bud and 2 leaves that have been bitten by green leafhoppers, yellow buds of Kim Tuyen tea variety grown in the "Lai Chau" geographical area. The product has a strong aroma of grilled sugarcane and honey, a mild taste, not astringent, glutamic acid content reaching 5.61 g/100 g or more.
The special properties and qualities of Lai Chau tea are due to the special natural conditions of the geographical area.
The area where ancient Shan tea is grown in Lai Chau city, Tam Duong, Sin Ho, Phong Tho, Than Uyen and Tan Uyen districts has an altitude of 1,200 to 2,500 m above sea level, the average monthly temperature range of day and night is 9.74°C, and the average annual rainfall is 2,118 mm. The high temperature range of day and night helps stimulate the synthesis of amino acids, including glutamic acid, making the tea buds greener and younger, contributing to the unique flavor.

The Kim Tuyen tea growing area in the above mentioned areas has an altitude of 900 to 1,300 m above sea level, the average monthly temperature range of day and night is 8.26°C, the average annual rainfall is 2,484 mm. These conditions help Kim Tuyen tea buds accumulate many total amino acids, maintain moisture in the leaves and improve cell structure, creating a unique quality for Oolong tea and Lai Chau Oriental Beauty tea products.
In addition to natural factors, production techniques and specific raw material selection standards in the processing of green tea, Oolong tea and Oriental Beauty tea also contribute significantly to creating the unique characteristics and quality of products bearing the geographical indication "Lai Chau".
