Viettel Global CEO in Top 100 most powerful women in Asia

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - General Director of Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation - is one of the most influential female leaders in Asia.

Fortune magazine has just announced the Most Powerful Women Asia 2025 rankings. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, General Director of Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation, was honored as one of the most influential female leaders in Asia.

This is the first time Viettel has a representative in this ranking, marking a new step forward for Vietnamese female leaders on the regional economic map.

Fortune's Most Powerful Women Asia ranking honors the 100 most influential women leaders in Asia- Pacific , selected based on criteria such as business size and performance, innovation, market impact, career journey, and social contribution.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa is one of four Vietnamese women on Fortune's Most Powerful Women Asia 2025 list.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa was appointed General Director of Viettel Global in February 2025. Prior to her appointment, she had 15 years of experience in the fields of telecommunications and international investment.

Viettel Global is operating in 10 countries on 3 continents, serving more than 90 million customers, of which 7 markets hold the No. 1 position in mobile market share. The company has achieved an average revenue growth rate of 20%/year over the past 10 years, 4-5 times higher than the average rate of the global telecommunications industry (according to Gartner).

At the same time, Viettel Global is also a pioneer in expanding into digital services, digital finance and digital transformation in international markets, notably the e-wallet sector with a growth rate of 57% in 2024.

Viettel Global is considered one of the Vietnamese enterprises with the deepest international footprint, acting as a commercial bridge to elevate Vietnam's brand and position in the world.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa emphasized: "Investing abroad is not just about finding new growth spaces.
