Awarding 9 prizes for the Songwriting Contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day

The songwriting contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation aims to honor outstanding musical compositions and spread love for the Port City.

On the evening of October 13, at the City Theater, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong organized a Gala to award the Songwriting Contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation (1955 - 2025).

The Organizing Committee awarded second prizes to the authors.

Launched from June to August 31, 2025, the contest received 128 works from professional and amateur musicians and authors nationwide, expressing their deep love for the resilient Port City.

The Organizing Committee awarded third prizes to the authors.

After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 20 outstanding songs for the final round, of which the 9 best works were performed in the final night on October 1 at the City Theater.

The Organizing Committee awarded consolation prizes to the authors.

The songs bring diverse nuances, from heroic and exciting to profound and lyrical, depicting the image of a renewed, dynamic Hai Phong striving for integration. Many works express the pride of the people of the Red Flamboyant City before the 70-year journey of construction and development.

At the Gala night, the Organizing Committee awarded 9 prizes including 3 second prizes to the works "Glorious and Shining Hai Phong" (Huynh Tan Phat, Dak Lak ), "Hai Phong - Continuing the heroic epic" (Nguyen Duc Hoai, Hai Phong), My Hai Phong (Nguyen Van Dat, Hung Yen); 3 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes.
