Plan International Vietnam supports Tuyen Quang with 1.5 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Faced with the consequences of floods in Tuyen Quang province after the recent storms No. 10 and 11, and responding to the call for joint support from the Department of Foreign Affairs of Tuyen Quang province, Plan International Vietnam expressed its deep sympathy for the damage and loss that the people of Tuyen Quang province, especially in Ha Giang province, have suffered due to the impact of floods. At the same time, it highly appreciated the province's efforts in responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods. Thereby, Plan International Vietnam implemented an emergency support package for households severely affected by natural disasters, with a total value of 50,000 Euros, equivalent to 1.5 billion VND.

The support package aims to promptly meet the essential needs of people, especially children after natural disasters. Plan International Vietnam also proposed that localities identify actual needs and appropriate support methods for each locality. At the same time, send staff along with development partners to join a team to quickly assess the damage situation in the province. Based on the results of the assessment team, mobilize resources from donors for emergency relief and recovery efforts after floods in Tuyen Quang .
