According to records, after the storm, many landslides appeared in the commune, causing local isolation; in the area of landmark 589 alone, 9 households were completely isolated in Na Rao hamlet. As soon as the weather stabilized, the leaders of Co Ba commune established a working group to cross the landslide route to reach the households. Here, the working group encouraged and gave essential necessities to help people temporarily stabilize their lives.

The commune urgently evacuated one household in Ngam Lom hamlet from the area at high risk of landslides. At the same time, 60 officers and soldiers of the border guard, militia, police and people of the hamlet were mobilized to help build temporary shelters to help the family stabilize their immediate living conditions.

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Co Ba commune, as of October 10, the entire commune had 29 households affected in terms of housing, of which 18 households needed urgent evacuation due to high risk of landslides. Traffic The basic situation in the area has been temporarily resolved, and Phieng Mon and Na Rao hamlets have been accessed. Two cultural houses and a school are still flooded, some buildings are buried in rocks and soil. Total production damage is more than 2 hectares of crops and perennial plants. The commune authorities are continuing to collect statistics and support people to stabilize their lives after the storm.
