Those who are attached to Chau Doc will feel excited by the changes of this place. Currently, Chau Doc ward is being invested synchronously in urban infrastructure, traffic infrastructure, to promote its role as a center of tourism and border trade economy of An Giang province.

In Chau Doc, somewhere there is a poetic and peaceful beauty of a Western city. From Chau Doc park, you can look towards Con Tien bridge to admire the charming river, with Chau Doc agricultural market next to the rustic boats of the river residents.

Coming to Chau Doc, you cannot miss the Tra - Basa Fish Monument, a symbol of prosperity of the fish farming industry in Chau Doc during its "golden age". After many years, the construction still stands tall at the Chau Doc River junction, becoming a unique highlight in the peaceful scenery here.

Along with modern houses, Chau Doc still has many centuries-old streets. They are simple, rustic and quiet next to the bustling, noisy life of the city.

Those old streets seem to preserve the appearance of an ancient Chau Doc amidst the flow of modern life, helping people fully feel the development of this land.

In the process of development, Chau Doc cannot lack the presence of the Chinese community. In the Chau Doc market area, Quan De Temple is the religious center of the Chinese community for many generations. Kinh people also often come here to worship.

The building has a unique and beautiful architecture, attracting people to visit all year round. Many young people also come here to take photos to preserve their youth with the beauty of this building.

The most impressive is Bodh Gaya, which is associated with the story of the Bodhi tree originating from Bodh Gaya in India. This Buddhist structure was built in 1952 and is where Chau Doc people place their sacred faith.

The Bodhi tree was given to the Vietnam Theosophical Society by Jinara Jadasa, President of the International Theosophical Society in India, in 1950. According to legend, this is a part of the Bodhi tree where Buddha sat in meditation. After many ups and downs, the Bodhi tree is still green and provides shade.

With its existing potential, Chau Doc is on the way to becoming an economic driving force of An Giang province. This land also has destinations with its own poetic beauty, worthy for you to come here and experience once!
