On September 21, 2025 in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its establishment, the Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group (Petrovietnam) was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal and a word of confidence from General Secretary To Lam. In his speech, General Secretary To Lam awarded Petrovietnam 8 golden words: "Pioneer - superior - sustainable - global". With "5 An" (Energy security, Economic security, Food security, National defense security, Social security) and "5 Nhat" (largest scale, highest budget contribution, highest profit, most science and technology awards, leading social security), Petrovietnam has been affirming its role as a pillar of the national economy. Entering a new era, Petrovietnam not only “exploits resources” but also “creates energy – industry – knowledge”, aiming to be in the Top 500 largest enterprises in the world by 2030, becoming a symbol of Vietnamese intelligence and aspiration on the global energy map.
