Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, emphasized that this is a key cultural and tourism event, aiming to honor and promote the outstanding global value of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex, which has just been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.
The festival is also an opportunity to pay tribute to the great contributions of our ancestors and promote the image of Hai Phong - a land rich in cultural traditions, history and potential for tourism and trade development.

The Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week takes place from October 4 to 12 with a series of rich activities.
The highlight is the launch of new tourism products including: tour "One journey - 5 world heritage destinations" (Con Son, Thanh Mai, Kiep Bac, Nham Duong, Kinh Chu); tour "Following the footsteps of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam" and tour "Discovering Con Son - Kiep Bac Heritage". This is an experiential journey connecting historical depth, spiritual values with natural landscapes and unique festival spaces.
Along with that, 3 large-scale exhibition spaces are arranged scientifically and attractively: craft village space (introducing the quintessence of traditional crafts such as Chu Dau pottery, Chau Khe gold and silver, Bao Ha lacquer, Xuan Neo embroidery...); agricultural products space - OCOP (200 typical products of Hai Phong such as yellow flower sticky rice, wild honey, green bean cake...); tourism - culinary space (introducing Hai Phong "food tour" specialties such as crab spring rolls, spicy fish noodles, spicy breadsticks).
In particular, visitors have the opportunity to interact directly when artisans and chefs demonstrate the craft village production process and prepare dishes right at the festival.

Along with that are special art programs: Cheo singing, Ca Tru singing, Van singing, water puppetry... performed by art troupes and folk clubs, contributing to recreating the cultural space imbued with the identity of the Eastern region.
