The 1st Congress of Delegates of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Yen Chau Commune

The 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Yen Chau commune.

The congress was held in a combination of in-person and online sessions at the communes and wards in the province. Attending the congress were leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and the Yen Chau Commune Party Committee.

During the 2022-2025 term, the Youth Union and youth movement in Yen Chau commune have achieved many important results; 10/10 targets have been achieved and exceeded the set plan. Notably, the Youth Union bases have organized 224 regular volunteer activities attracting more than 2,200 youth union members to participate; implemented 12 youth projects, with a total value of over 600 million VND; repaired over 92 km of intra-village and inter-village roads; contributed to the construction of 15.5 km of new rural roads; 10 "Village Light" youth projects; dredged and cleared 40 km of ditches and sewers; repaired 57 cultural houses and playgrounds for children; maintained the operation of 6 model youth routes with the criteria of "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - civilized - safe".

Implementing the youth start-up program, the whole commune has 1,659 young people who have borrowed capital, with a total outstanding debt of 34.4 billion VND from the Social Policy Bank to start a business; coordinating training, vocational training, career counseling, transferring scientific and technical advances for more than 2,200 young people; introducing jobs to 1,500 young people; maintaining 6 youth clubs for economic development; supporting 30 young people to implement the model of "Growing fruit trees on sloping land". Youth Union organizations have introduced over 134 outstanding young people to the Party; of which, 72 members were admitted to the Party.

In the 2025-2030 term, with the slogan of action " Yen Chau Youth: Unity - Aspiration - Courage - Creativity - Development", Yen Chau Commune Youth Union strives to have over 500 youth union members and young people participate in volunteer activities for community life every year; introduce 400 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 100 outstanding union members are admitted to the Party; support and help at least 200 students and children in difficult circumstances; build over 5 commune-level youth projects; 8 grassroots youth projects; coordinate counseling, career guidance, and job introduction for over 1,300 young union members.

Provincial Youth Union leaders presented flowers to congratulate the delegation attending the congress of the higher-level Youth Union.

The congress elected 21 delegates to the first Executive Committee of the Yen Chau Commune Youth Union, term 2025-2030, and 4 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the congress of the higher-level Youth Union.
