The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Association of War Invalids of Ninh Binh Province, term 2025-2030

On the morning of October 15, at the Cultural House of Vu Ban commune, the Association of Seriously Disabled War Veterans of Ninh Binh province held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.

The Association of Seriously Disabled War Veterans of Nam Dinh Province (old) was established under Decision No. 326/QD-SNV, dated February 2, 2024 of the Department of Home Affairs. After more than 18 months of operation, the Association has gathered more than 250 members. The members always promote the spirit of "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves", "The disabled war veterans are not useless", unite, mobilize members and benefactors to care for and visit sick comrades, support the families of members in difficult circumstances; visit and give gifts to poor students who overcome difficulties, affected by Agent Orange; participate in movements launched by Party committees, authorities and the Fatherland Front.

After merging the three provinces of Ha Nam , Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh (old) into the new Ninh Binh province, on September 16, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 715/QD-UBND on allowing the renaming of the Nam Dinh Province Association of Seriously Disabled Soldiers to the Ninh Binh Province Association of Seriously Disabled Soldiers. Currently, the whole province has over 600 seriously disabled and sick soldiers with a labor loss rate of 31% or more, living in 129 communes and wards. Many of them have difficulties in life and health. The unification of the Clubs and organizations of the Severely Disabled Soldiers Association in the localities into a common organization is of great significance, creating cohesion, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of members, promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in building the homeland and the country.

The Congress is an important milestone, determining the direction of activities for the 2025-2030 term, aiming to build a strong and financially autonomous Association, do a good job of developing members, and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements. Enhance political capacity and solidarity among members. Promote revolutionary traditions, set an example in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies. Mobilize members to actively participate in economic development, build cultural life in residential areas, contribute to building advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas. Promote the spirit of "comradeship", help each other overcome difficulties, improve life, and continue to contribute to building Ninh Binh province to become increasingly rich and civilized.

The Congress approved the Personnel Plan and the Congress Resolution on the organization, management and operation of the Association. The Executive Committee of the Association of Seriously Disabled War Veterans of Ninh Binh province, term 2025-2030, consists of 15 comrades, including 1 Chairman and 2 Vice Chairmen of the Association.
