Binh Thuan volunteer group brings 500 gifts to Thai Nguyen flood area

On October 16 and 17, the volunteer group of the "Spreading Love" Association of Binh Thuan - Lam Dong visited and presented 500 gifts to people in Thai Nguyen province who were severely affected by the recent floods.

The delegation will visit and give gifts to flood victims on October 16 and 17.

On the morning of October 16, in Gia Sang ward, the delegation presented 100 gifts to households that suffered heavy losses due to flooding. Next, the delegation visited the second branch of the Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television, and presented 15 gifts through the Editorial Board to those who faced many difficulties due to floods.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation continued to Linh Son ward to give 100 gifts to the people of Ben Do residential group, one of the places that was deeply flooded and heavily affected by natural disasters.

Representatives of artists of the Thai Nguyen Province Literature and Arts Association were moved to receive support gifts.

Along with the gift-giving activities, the delegation also visited a number of families that suffered heavy losses in Gia Sang and Linh Son wards, including cases where relatives or all of their property were lost after the flood.

According to the plan, on October 17, the delegation will give 100 gifts to people in Con Minh commune and 150 gifts in Xuan Duong commune; and also give gifts to Xuan Duong Secondary School.

Each gift includes rice, some necessities and 500,000 VND in cash. Although not large in material value, this is a timely source of encouragement, demonstrating the spirit of "helping each other", sharing difficulties with people in flood-affected areas, contributing to helping Thai Nguyen people feel more warm-hearted and soon stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.
