2025 Youth Tug of War Championship has prize money of more than 500 million VND

For the first time, Vietnam organized a large-scale movement playground exclusively for students, workers and laborers.

The 2025 Youth Tug of War Championship took place in Hanoi, opening a vibrant and inspiring sports journey for Vietnamese youth. With the message “Connecting youth – Enduring will”, the tournament aims to spread the spirit of sports training, active living and community connection.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan - representative of the Organizing Committee said: "The tournament is not only a sports competition, but also an opportunity for young people to affirm their will, courage and solidarity."

Useful playground for Vietnamese youth.

The tournament will take place from October 14 to December 5, 2025, including 8 competition stages, with 7 regional qualifying rounds and 1 final round, bringing together more than 100 teams, nearly 1,500 athletes and about 20,000 spectators at the competition venues. The qualifying rounds will take place at Dai Nam University, University of Commerce,FPT Polytechnic College, Noi Bai Industrial Park (Soc Son), Tien Lang Stadium (Hai Phong), My Hao Cultural - Sports Center (Hung Yen) and Thai Nguyen University of Industry, which will also host the final round and closing ceremony. The total prize value of the season is up to 540 million VND, along with more than 1.2 billion VND in gifts for spectators and sideline activities.
