Support nearly 400 million

According to Nguoi Dua Tin 's source, for now, Hai Phong City People's Committee supports the victim's family with 30 million VND, Vinh Bao district supports 30 million VND, Co Am commune supports 10 million VND, Hai Phong City Red Cross supports 5 million VND, Vinh Bao District Women's Union supports 3 million VND...

Talking to Nguoi Dua Tin , Mr. Doan Van Thanh - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Bao district, said that, implementing the direction of the People's Committee of Vinh Bao district, the district's Education sector has called for support and help from teachers of kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the area.

“Just 3 hours after the call, on the afternoon of February 1, teachers at 74 kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in Vinh Bao district donated 270 million VND. That same evening, representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Bao district presented this amount of money to support the family,” Mr. Doan Van Thanh informed.

The only person who survived the fire was NPTT, currently a 10th grade C2 student at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School. Teacher Tong Cong Thuong - Principal of Nguyen Binh Khiem High School, informed Nguoi Dua Tin that NPTT is very obedient and a good student, so he is loved by his teachers and friends. Recently, he won 3rd prize in the city-level competition for excellent students in Chemistry.

“To encourage and share the pain of loss with NPTT, initially, teachers in the school contributed 30 million VND to support his family. In the coming time, the school plans to call for support to open a savings book for him,” teacher Tong Cong Thuong shared.

As reported by Nguoi Dua Tin , Mr. Dao Nguyen Linh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Co Am commune, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong city, confirmed that the fire that occurred in hamlet 2, Co Am commune in the early morning of February 1st took the lives of a mother and her three children.

Previously, Ms. X. and her husband from Thai Binh province rented a house in Hamlet 2, Co Am Commune to sell nutritious porridge. On the night of January 31, early morning of February 1, when the fire broke out, Ms. X.'s husband was not home from work. In the house, there were only Ms. X. and her four children. When the fire broke out, Ms. X.'s eldest child ran out. Ms. X. and her two young children died in the fire.

According to Nguoi Dua Tin 's source, at 3:05 a.m. on February 1, Center 114 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Hai Phong City Police) received a report of a house fire in Hamlet 2 (opposite Cay Xanh Temple) in Co Am Commune, Vinh Bao District.

Immediately after receiving the news, Center 114 asked for instructions from superiors and notified the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Vinh Bao District Police and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tien Lang District Police (both from Hai Phong City) to send forces and fire trucks to the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue. The fire was then extinguished.

Currently, Hai Phong City authorities are urgently investigating the cause of the fire as well as overcoming the consequences of the fire .
