Hung Yen: Developing 2,760 oyster rafts in estuaries

Currently, in Hung Yen province, 2,760 oyster rafts have been developed in the communes of Hung Phu and Dong Thai Ninh.

The production value from oyster farming models reaches tens of billions of VND each year , contributing to   The province's fisheries sector growth in the first 9 months of 2025 will reach 3.2% over the same period in 2024.   In addition to bringing profits to farmers, oyster farming also has the benefit of filtering water, contributing to environmental protection.

To develop aquaculture, as well as replicate the oyster farming model in coastal communes, the Department of Sea and Fisheries has consulted with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to issue an official dispatch on aquaculture management according to planning.
