The Vinh Bao Regional Project Management Board has just held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to invest in building the Emergency, Intensive Care - Anti-Poison - Surgery Department of Vinh Bao General Hospital.

This is one of the projects invested by the Vinh Bao Regional Investment Project Management Board, practically welcoming the first City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

According to the approved design, the project will build a 3-storey building for the Department of Surgery, with a total floor area of ​​about 1,580 ^m2 ; a 5-storey building for the Department of Emergency, Intensive Care and Anti-Poison, with a total floor area of ​​about 3,100 ^m2 . Purchase and install synchronous equipment in the house: Electricity, water supply, fire prevention and fighting, air conditioning, medical gas, operating room, elevator. Renovate and upgrade the technical infrastructure outside the house: yard, road, sidewalk, water supply system, drainage, wastewater treatment, lighting, information, fire prevention and fighting outside the new construction, with a total area of ​​about 260 ^m2 .

The total investment of the project is more than 73.7 billion VND from the city budget. The joint venture of contractors Thai Son Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company - Long Thai Construction and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company - Armephaco Joint Stock Company won the bid to construct the project.

The project was implemented in 660 days, after completion, it will meet the needs of infrastructure and health care for people in Vinh Bao area and surrounding localities. Aiming to build Vinh Bao General Hospital into a hospital in the southern region of the city, meeting grade I standards, with a scale of 350 beds or more, developing high technology, performing the task of medical examination and treatment for people in Vinh Bao area and neighboring communes of Hung Yen province.

Currently, the winning contractors are demolishing the old buildings to prepare the construction site for the project items according to the approved design estimate, and are committed to the investor to focus on manpower, materials, equipment and machinery to continuously strive to complete and put the project into operation 6 months in advance.
