- Mr. Deputy Minister Ho An Phong, the 2025 Autumn Fair is considered not only a trade activity but also a unique cultural activity at the end of the year. To successfully implement this event, what tasks has the Government assigned to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism?

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong: The 2025 Autumn Fair is a very special fair, the first fair in Vietnam organized on a national scale and with the direct participation and direction of the Government .

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with its functions and tasks, has been assigned many important tasks by the Government and the Prime Minister. In particular, it is to participate in a space for the commodity market of Vietnamese cultural industries, introducing the quintessence of Vietnamese culture to the public and domestic and international businesses. This is also a special trading meeting point of the fair.

We are also assigned to participate in communication, promotion of the fair, organizing opening and closing programs and regular cultural and artistic activities, turning the fair into a real festival for people, businesses, trade and connecting people with the market and goods. Thereby contributing to promoting consumption, economic growth and attracting investment.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong: People come to the 2025 Autumn Fair not only to experience shopping but also to enjoy culture.

The participation of the cultural sector with products of Vietnamese cultural industries in this fair is very important.

The first is to promote the development of Vietnam's cultural industries. According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam's cultural industries have contributed 4.4% to the country's GDP, which is a very important industry. We set a target that by 2030, with a vision to 2045, Vietnam's cultural industries will contribute 7% of GDP. This is a very high target and there is also a lot of room. This fair is an opportunity to promote the development of Vietnam's cultural industries, promote creativity, promote good ideas and especially promote investment in the Vietnam cultural industries market.

Second, this fair is a very lively activity to connect culture with commerce, to connect trade, to develop products and for the public, businesses, and people to come not only to experience shopping for goods but also to enjoy culture and art. In particular, the participation of Vietnamese cultural industries in the fair will contribute to promoting domestic consumption and promoting cultural values and the quintessence of Vietnamese culture to the domestic and international markets.

- What kind of cultural industrial products will be introduced at this year's Autumn Fair, Deputy Minister?

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong: The area of Vietnamese cultural industrial products has an area of more than 10,000 square meters, is a very large and diverse space, gathering goods of 12 Vietnamese cultural industries such as cinema, performing arts, publishing... to be displayed and traded at the fair.

Here, the public will have access to products from the film industry, performing arts, advertising, publishing, fashion - ao dai, fine arts, tourism, entertainment games, broadcasting and many other fields.

All of these unique products are the quintessence of Vietnamese culture, introduced in both the form of physical goods and cultural services. This is the first time that Vietnamese cultural industries have fully and synchronously converged at a national trade promotion event, contributing to enriching the scale and depth of the fair.

- The 2025 Autumn Fair is considered a very special trade promotion event combining culture and tourism. What activities will the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to implement to promote the image of the fair to the public?

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong: We have assigned tasks to the Press Department, the Department of Radio - Television and Electronic Information, the Department of Grassroots Information and the Department of Foreign Information based on their functions and tasks to deploy communication activities to promote the fair.

The Ministry also established a press center right at the fair to provide daily information to domestic and international journalists and reporters. It is expected that the press center will soon be operational before the fair takes place to best serve press agencies in spreading positive information about the fair to readers nationwide.

At the same time, we promote communication on social networks and digital platforms. We use a large team of KOLs to spread information quickly and multi-dimensionally, to bring the image of the fair closer to people, customers and businesses. In addition, there are daily shows associated with products such as Ao Dai performances, contemporary art, traditional art...

We hope to turn this event into a real consumer festival, where they not only shop but also experience culture, enjoy art, creating a widespread ripple effect in society.

In particular, this year's fair also has a very meaningful point: the program of donating to support flood victims. This is an activity demonstrating social responsibility, connecting the community, so that the fair is not only a place for trading but also a place to spread the humanitarian spirit of the Vietnamese people.

- In the context of strong digital technology development, does the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism have a plan to apply digital platforms and social networks to increase coverage and interaction for the fair?

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong: Digital communication is very important, fast and timely. We promote communication not only on official press channels but also on social networks and digital platforms.

In particular, we create online forums for consumers to comment and vote on the quality of goods and product brands, and at the same time receive timely feedback to quickly handle problems arising during the fair. This is a modern, two-way interactive way to help bring the event closer to the public and increase promotional effectiveness.

- It is expected that more than 200 domestic and international press agencies will participate in promoting this fair. How does the Deputy Minister assess the role of the press in spreading information about this very important and special event?

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong: We highly appreciate the participation of the press. Right from the beginning of the fair's organization, the press nationwide has been very active. At the opening press conference held on the afternoon of October 14, there were 200 journalists in attendance. Vietnam Television broadcast the opening events live, VOV broadcast live, and many reporters from other press agencies followed the event closely to bring timely and accurate information to readers.

The press not only reflects information but also contributes to promoting products, brands and trading activities.

In particular, the Industry and Trade Newspaper - the media agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - worked very professionally and creatively, contributing significantly to the success of the media work of this fair.

- Thank you very much, Deputy Minister!
