Samsung Vietnam is currently operating Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Yen Phong I Industrial Park of Bac Ninh province, creating stable jobs for tens of thousands of workers inside and outside the province. Recently, Bac Ninh province has implemented many practical solutions such as ensuring stable power sources, upgrading infrastructure around factories to respond to natural disasters, etc. These efforts have contributed to creating a favorable investment environment, promoting production and business activities of enterprises.

Samsung pledges to continue to make every effort not only to maintain stable production activities, but also to actively participate in local volunteer activities, while contributing to the training of high-quality human resources, contributing to the socio -economic development of Bac Ninh province.
Responding to the call for support for people in flood-hit areas, Samsung has donated 10 billion VND through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, of which 2.5 billion VND is specifically for people in Bac Ninh province. Joining hands with Samsung, Hong Hai Science and Technology Group has also donated 1 billion VND to help overcome the consequences of floods.
During the days when floodwaters rose, isolating many areas in Bo Ha and Yen The communes, representatives of the Trade Unions of foreign-invested enterprises such as Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd., Luxshare ICT Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park), GoerTek Vina Co., Ltd., etc. coordinated with the provincial working group to go directly to the flood-hit areas, giving away essential gifts such as drinking water, instant noodles, porridge, cakes, etc., demonstrating the spirit of sharing and accompanying people to overcome difficulties.
In particular, the Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. Union has launched a fundraising campaign to support Bac Ninh people affected by natural disasters. Union members can donate by bank transfer or in person until October 16. All donations will be collected, a part of which will be used to support union members and workers affected; the rest will be transferred to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to carry out relief activities.
According to the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, since the floods occurred, businesses have not only made efforts to maintain stable production but also actively cooperated with the locality in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Many units have proactively supported materials, mobilized vehicles and human resources to participate in preventing dike overflows, contributing to protecting the safety of industrial parks and people.
In order to share with the workers, Luxshare ICT Limited Company does not deduct salary or timekeeping for those who cannot come to work at the Company during the days of flooding and isolation; at the same time, it encourages, visits and gives gifts to workers in flooded areas.
As of the afternoon of October 15, the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received more than VND28.4 billion and many necessities from organizations, individuals and businesses to support the flood victims in the province. Among them, many FDI enterprises contributed large amounts of money, up to billions of VND.
