Lao Cai has paid over 2,900 billion VND to beneficiaries of Decree 178.

Strictly implementing policies and regimes for civil servants, public employees and workers in the process of restructuring the apparatus, up to now, Lao Cai province has paid over 2,900 billion VND to 2,664 people who are entitled to regimes under Decree 178.

Of which, the Party and mass organizations have 498 cases paid over 715 billion VND, including 64 cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, 358 civil servants, 68 public employees, and 8 contract workers. The Government has 2,164 cases with a total payment of over 2,200 billion VND.

In addition, Lao Cai province has also paid more than 235 billion VND to non-professional workers who quit their jobs according to Decree 154.

Up to now, the payment work has been implemented promptly, in accordance with regulations, ensuring publicity and transparency, creating consensus and psychological stability for the team of cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers at the grassroots level.
