The Provincial Red Cross Society organized the program "Accompanying and giving love" in Cam Nhan commune.

Promoting the spirit of "mutual love" and sharing difficulties with people in remote areas, on October 13, Lao Cai Provincial Red Cross organized the program "Accompanying and giving love" in Cam Nhan commune with a total value of more than 300 million VND.

At the program, the Provincial Red Cross presented 17 gifts to victims, relatives of people infected with Agent Orange, relatives of severely disabled children and orphans in Cam Nhan commune, each gift worth 1 million VND.

Although the gifts are not large, they carry the affection, care and sharing of the staff, members and philanthropists, contributing to encouraging those in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.

Also at the program, the Lao Cai Provincial Red Cross Society mobilized social resources to support many other practical activities. The Society presented 500 helmets to the Cam Nhan Commune Police, of which 200 were sponsored by Son Hoa Transport and Trading Joint Stock Company; presented 220 new sweaters, worth 22 million VND and 200 boxes of cakes, worth 9 million VND to Cam Nhan Primary and Secondary School No. 1; presented common medicines, worth 30 million VND to Cam Nhan Regional General Clinic; presented 200 free dental check-up vouchers, worth 1 million VND/voucher to Cam Nhan Commune Red Cross Society.

In particular, the program also organized a free haircut activity coordinated by Thuy Hero Hair Salon ( Yen Bai ward). In just one day, 10 barbers served more than 200 students and residents. The activity brought joy, excitement and a warm, loving atmosphere among the community.
