The delegation of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines ( VIMC ) consisting of 28 comrades, led by Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Corporation, was honored to attend the Congress with 453 official delegates, representing more than 209,000 party members from 2,211 grassroots party organizations in the entire Government Party Committee, and about 120 invited delegates.
With the theme: "Building a clean and strong Government Party organization; solidarity, exemplary leadership in science , technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, developing the country quickly and sustainably in the era of rising up, prosperity, civilization, prosperity and happiness" and the motto of action: "Solidarity and discipline - Democracy and innovation - Breakthrough development - Close to the people" , the Congress was held in the context of the entire Party, people and army striving to successfully complete the socio-economic development goals in 2025 and the 2021-2025 period, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Before entering the preparatory session on the morning of October 12, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister led the delegation to the Congress to pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh at the Mausoleum and offer incense at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates expressed their respect and remembrance of the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the founder, trainer and leader of our Party, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution.
The Congress took place in an urgent, serious, responsible, exciting and effective atmosphere, completing all the contents and programs set out in accordance with regulations. In the working program, the Congress listened to a report summarizing comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, received the Politburo's Decision to appoint the Government Party Delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party, and passed the Resolution of the Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In his closing speech at the Congress, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister affirmed that the Congress was a great success, completing all the program contents with the spirit of solidarity, democracy, intelligence and high determination. The Congress passed a Resolution demonstrating the will and determination to build a clean and strong Government Party Committee; united, exemplary in leading science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, developing the country quickly and sustainably.
The 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 is an important occasion for the VIMC Party Committee to thoroughly grasp the leadership spirit of General Secretary To Lam and the strategic orientations identified by the Congress, continue to spread the spirit of innovation, creativity, responsibility and development aspirations throughout the entire Party Committee of the Corporation, contributing with the entire Government Party Committee to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and key tasks in the period 2025 - 2030.
